Jasmine's Car Alarm

"So explain to me how I work your car alarm."

"Uggh! Nobody gets this how this thing works."

"Well I've never owned a car worth stealing before."

"No, it's not just you, it's... So look here. This button...it does nothing. This button is the only one that matters."

"I just press it and it'll turn off the alarm and unlock the doors?"

"I don't think it turns off the alarm."

"So how do I do that?"

"You don't need to."

"All right then. So what would happen if I were to not press the button, and then...kick your car."

"You would become a jerk. That's what would happen."

"But the car alarm wouldn't go off?"

"Nope."

"And if I were to put the key into the door and turn it-"

"The alarm would go off."

"Right. What if the alarm was still active and I started the car with the keys."

"It would deactivate the alarm."

"So the best way for someone like me to drive away in your car without setting off the alarm is to smash the window in, put the key in the ignition, and go."

"Stop making me laugh!"
