The Style Menu is not Just a Live

squarehappy v2 came with the promise of being able to style the site to your liking, so long as you like one of the styles I've created. But since I'd created only one style at that point, the site hasn't really had that going for it. That's finally changed, far too late and far too early at the same time.

I'd direct you to the style menu, but that really isn't the nature of a site that could look different for every user. However, I'm going to have to assume that everyone that views this site uses the Live style. It's on the far right of the horizontal orange bar at the top, also affectionately known as the "menu bar". Hover your mouse over the link to pop up a menu with the different style options or you can click the link and be taken to the dedicated Style page. Exciting!

There's two new styles to choose from, Wasteland and The Times. Wasteland is far more developed though currently suffers from compatibility issues with older browsers. The Times flatout hasn't been styled on certain parts of the site. They're both completely usable. They will be completed soon, I've just been too hung up on building layouts and being lazy that I needed to shake something up on the user end.

Please comment if the style menu isn't working for you.

my first tip: don't ask mike for flash tips. i'm liable to just make things up to cover for the fact that i don't know anything about it. from a accessibility perspective (i can hear everyone collapsing on the floor right now) it's probably not a good idea for reasons i couldn't possibly fit into this paragraph that i want to end right now. but it's just your myspace page so you shouldn't worry about it and do whatever. search "flash accessibility" on google for more info.
