Violence Art

I would feel remiss if I were to not let this secret out. While it's blatantly showcased in my portfolio, something tells me most visitors don't get around to that part of the neighborhood.

Violence Art is the online art gallery of my girlfriend Jessica, where her work in various artistic mediums in showcased on a site hand-crafted for her by yours truly. One noteworthy collection is her "hand drawn" Microsoft Paint portraits, impressive due to the limited, bordering on nonexistant capabilities of that image editor. Let's see an example of her fine work, shall we? She chose an excellent subject for this portrait.

Noteworthy is the site's organization. Each piece is tagged with the mediums used to create it, such as oil paint, charcoal, and/or Photoshop. You can find pieces by medium, and like del.icio.us, you can add more than one medium to further refine your search. In addition, a list of pieces that use similar mediums appears as a sidebar to the main page for each piece.

Not to pat myself in the back, but I conceived this tag-based organization before I'd ever heard of tags or del.icio.us. Plus the site has some links to nowhere, and doesn't have search engine-friendly URLs. Where's the SEO management here?
